From the Race Director
New changes have been made to the 2012 WSMC Rulebook to streamline the race schedule and bring better competition back to the track in the 2012 season.
Among the most noteworthy changes is the return to three displacement based novice classes (Light, Middle and Heavyweight) plus a new
Formula Novice class rather than running separate novice waves in each race.
“By streamlining the grid, things should move more smoothly,” notes Race Director John Cagle. “It will also allow novices to have greater competition, since you won’t find as many waves with one or two riders.”
